Why choose live music for your wedding? Music is a significant part of what connects people to events and what connects people to memories of those events. While a CD of wedding music could provide the right kind of music in the right places, live music is simply more intimate. While guests may not notice or remember music played from CD, they will notice and rememeber the uniqueness of a flute ensemble and the elegance it adds to your wedding.
Why choose Flute Salad? Simply put, we add a lot of elegance yet do so simply. A flute trio is elegant and memorable. As a trio, we can become part of your wedding ensemble without detracting from it. What's more, many of our wedding pieces include the bass flute, which adds unique beauty to our music.
Flute Salad has a large music repertoire: You can choose traditional wedding music, or you can choose other pieces from our repertoire. Similarly, we can serve as music consultants to help you identify music for the various parts of your wedding, and we take requets as well. Our goal is to add to your day in a way that's elegant, affordable, and easy for you.
To simplify wedding music bookings, we charge a flat rate of $300. This includes
Two pre-wedding music consultations
Participation in the wedding rehearsal
Complete wedding music, including Prelude, Candle Lighting, Seating of Family, Bridesmaids, Bride, Ceremony, Recessional, and Postlude
Flute Salad can also provide
Background music at your bridal shower
Background music at your rehearsal dinner
Background music during the reception dinner
These wedding-related events are generally booked at $90 to $150 per hour (that's $30 to $50 per hour per musician), with a two-hour minimum booking. Discounted rates apply if you book one or more of these events in addition to booking your wedding music with us. See also our Services page for more information.
